The December 2014 week #3 "Fossil Shark Tooth of the Month" selection is a ~3-1/2" Gem Carcharocles sokolovi from Morocco. This is one of the best GEM extra large Carcharocles sokolovi that I have seen. The BEST of the BEST!

An incredible 5-1/4" GEM, Classic Lee Creek Megalodon tooth. It has an excellent medium blue colored crown with an exceptional hazel brown bourlette. Highest quality enamel. Fantastic color! An EXTRA LARGE, TOP QUALITY, classic Lee Creek Chubutensis tooth (predecessor of Megalodon) - upper jaw ANTERIOR tooth. Another December 2017 Fossil fo the Month.This Chubutensis has an incredible light gray colored crown with fades to a golden tan. The bourlette is essentially complete and a great light brown color. Highest quality enamel with a no hydration cracks. Exceptional color! The serrations are razor sharp - near perfect with a needle-like tip serration. The root is an excellent light tan color and absolutely complete. This Chubutensis was found in the Pungo River Formation, Lee Creek mine, NC (Miocene age = 14.5 MYA). NO repair! An incredible, EXTRA LARGE Mosasaurus anceps cervical (neck) vertebra including the neural canal and processes. Exceptional condition and preservation (very rare). This wonderful specimen is very mineralized and weighs ~1 lb. An incredible display piece. This is the nicest Mosasaur vertebra that I have seen! A fantastic collector's piece.

A natural Hoploscaphites brevis ammonite with great preservation of the shell material. The ammonite shell exhibits excellent natural iridescence. A matrix free specimen with a thick profile. An ultra rare, Quality lower jaw lateral Hexanchus tooth - the Sixgill Cow shark, from the Lee Creek mine, Aurora, No. Carolina. This tooth has a rich blue & tan crown with a tan root. Nine main cusps (one damaged). Please note that this tooth broke in two and was neatly put back together.  Incredible color and preservation. These are Pliocene age, Yorktown Formation teeth. A Very Rare, Top Quality Paraorthacodus rossi tooth from Hornby Island, British Columbia, Canada. This is a newly named species from the Late Cretaceous deep water Northumberland Formation deposit. A unique species believed to be Palaeospinacidae shark. The crown and root are mostly complete with slight damage to the central cusp and one side cusp. High quality enamel. No repair. A very difficult tooth to locate and an excellent collector's tooth. Authenticity guaranteed. This incredible specimen is from a 20 year old collection.

A TOP QUALITY, 5-3/4" Classic Lee Creek Megalodon tooth - upper jaw PRINCIPAL ANTERIOR tooth from Aurora, No. Carolina. A May Fossil of the Month. This Megalodon has an incredible light tan colored crown with a large brown colored bourlette. Highest quality enamel. Fantastic color! The crown is very wide (4-9/16") - incredible! The bourlette is excellent, extra large and 99% perfect. The serrations are razor sharp with an excellent tip serration (they will cut your hand). Super serrations for a larger Meg tooth - razor sharp! The root is an excellent tan color with small hydration cracks and complete.
