A fantastic, GEM Quality, Mammuthus primigenius, Woolly Mammoth tusk from southwestern Siberia. An April Fossil of the Month. This tusk is a manageable size at 42” straight line measurement tip to end or 65" on the outer curve. It is a tusk of a teenage Bull mammoth which lived in the late Pleistocene Ice Age some 30,000 plus years ago. The large tusk diameter and weight indicate that this was a Bull mammoth. A TOP QUALITY, 5-3/4" Classic Lee Creek Megalodon tooth - upper jaw PRINCIPAL ANTERIOR tooth from Aurora, No. Carolina. A May Fossil of the Month. This Megalodon has an incredible light tan colored crown with a large brown colored bourlette. Highest quality enamel. Fantastic color!
