A LARGE, MUSEUM QUALITY Rhynchodercetis aff. yovanovitchi fish. This Rhynchodercetis aff. yovanovitchi, a Needle fish, is 4-3/8"+ in length. There is also another unidentified fossil fish (1-1/2"). Incredible detail. Excellent preservation and incredible preparation. This is a Cretaceous specimen from Taouz, Morocco. Rare specimen! A top quality collector's piece.

An ultra rare Mosasaur matrix piece with two Top Quality Mosasaurus (Prognathodon) anceps teeth with their original roots. Another May 2018 Fossil of the Month selection. An ULTRA Rare, TOP QUALITY Parotodus benedeni tooth from Sharktooth Hill, near Bakersfield California. A December 2022 Fossil of the Month. This tooth has a highly desirable light tan enamel and a very massive root. This Parotodus benedeni tooth remains mounted on the original Round Mountain Silt matrix and it is sitting on a chunk of whale bone. The crown enamel has very good luster and very sharp edges. Highest quality enamel! Note -  a small (~1/8") tip repair was professionally done.  A very difficult tooth to locate and an EXCEPTIONAL Collector's tooth! An ultra rare, LARGE Top Quality Edestus heinrichi shark whorl with 7 big crowns, from Herrin, Illinois. An October Fossil of the Month. This is a Paleozoic shark that lived in swamps that our now underground coal deposits. Excellent preservation and serrations. This whorl is incredible teeth detail - the first 5 crowns are all natural and the the last two have some top repair. One of the finest whorls that I have had. The Edestus shark would have an upper and lower tooth whorl that are vertically opposed. Research showed that they could use their opposing teeth in a scissor-like motion to cut prey. It is the first animal to cut vertically. A very strange looking and unique acting shark. Shark recreation image is credited to Julio Lacerdo. These rare teeth are Pennsylvanian age from Illinois. Note - Two crown tips were professionally retored. Authenticity guaranteed. An EXTRA LARGE, rare, Top Quality Anchiceratops ornatus epoccipital (frill ornament) from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. An April Fossil of the Month. Anchiceratops was a large ceratopsian dinosaur found in the Horseshoe Canyon formation which has three horns and a large frill protecting its neck. This epoccipital has excellent detail preserved and great color / patina. The epoccipitals were triangular bone ornaments that lined the top of the frill.  This epoccipital exhibits incredible detailnand is very thick & heavy. Near complete specimen with minor crack fill. A HUGE, High Quality Tyrannosaurus rex tooth from a very large adult Rex. A June 2020 Fossil of the Month. This massive Rex crown measures 4-9/16" (straight up) or 4-7/8" (straight line) or 5"+ (on curve) and has a big root (2" Wide). The enamel is good quality with some root etchings and natural cracks. Good brown color. The serrations are worn, but visible. The tip is good. Cracks are stabilized with some crack fill. No breaks - possibly one. A natural tooth from a BIG Rex! Note - most teeth of this size that you see are heavy restored and sometimes two teeth are put together! This tooth has original enamel from tip to base. One giant crown. T-Rex was the apex during the late Cretaceous with massive teeth capable of crushing its prey. See the detailed description to determine how to tell a real T-Rex tooth! A Top Quality Triceratops horridus nasal horn section from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. A September Fossil of the Month. Triceratops was a large ceratopsian dinosaur found in the Hell Creek and Lance Creek formations which is know for three horns and the large frill protecting its neck. A complete nasal horn. This is an exceptional nasal horn with excellent detail preserved. You can see all of the natural blood grooves around the surface of the horn and the skull bone is attached to the rear of the horn. Edmontosaurus is a very large hadrosaur or "duck-bill" dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation. Bone quality is excellent. Processes are nearly ntact. Minor crack fill. No restoration.
