A rare, Top Quality Trigonotodus aktulagaicus shark tooth, a Thresher shark, from the Tolagaysor Fm., Aktulagay, western Kazakhstan. This is an early Eocene (Ypresian) Lamnidae tooth. This scarce shark species. Excellent condition and preservation. These teeth are difficult to find! Authenticity guaranteed. One of the finest localities for Eocene age shark teeth! I only hane one tooth from this species!

A beautifully prepared Comura bultyncki trilobite. Dozens of large spines fully exposed requiring many dozens of hours of air abrasion. One of the most difficult trilobites to prepare. A very ornate spiny trilobite design with nice compound eyes! Excellent shell and spine preservation. Good size. A rare species! An Ultra Rare EXTRA LARGE, Top Quality Tyrannosaurus rex tooth. Another August 2018 Fossil of the Month. This Rex crown measures 4-1/2" (straightline) and is thick (1-9/16") - a massive Rex tooth. The enamel is very high quality and a rich dark brown color. Good posterior and anterior serrations with a small amount of natural tip wear. An extra wide base. This is a big and heavy tooth. Note - this tooth was cracked in a freeze cycle as evidenced by the cracks in the top half of the tooth. The preparator did a exceptional job prepping this tooth and it is rock solid now. A small area of the cutting edge was rebuilt about midway on both the anterior and posterior sides (see final photo). Excellent overall condition for a big Rex tooth. A incredibly rare & special tooth! T-Rex was the apex during the late Cretaceous with massive teeth capable of crushing its prey. An ultra rare, Top Quality Parotodus benedeni tooth from the Ica region of Peru. A July Fossil of the Month. Highest quality enamel. An excellent tan colored crown with clean edges. Excellent color. This is a late Miocene age tooth (6-8 MYA). Please note that there is an ~1/4" wedge restored on inside of the left root end. A desert shark from the deserts of Peru! An excellent TAN colored Megalodon tooth from No. Carolina with frame.  These Megalodon teeth are great for gifts, class room, or starting your fossil shark tooth or Megalodon collection.  This Megalodon tooth is Miocene age - about 15 MYA (Hawthorne Fm.) and was found 40 miles offshore Wrightsville Beach, NC. No repair or restoration.
