A TOP QUALITY Arcophoca longirostris seal jaw from the Bahia Inglesa Fm., Copiapo, Chile. An August Fossil of the Month. Arcophoca is a late Miocene age seal. This jaw (mandible) is complete with a perfect canine and 4 molars. There are multiple cracks in the jaw that were glued / stabilized without filler. Great preservation and color. A GEM HUGE, 4-1/4" CLASSIC Lee Creek Carcharocles chubutensis, a C. megalodon predecessor - upper jaw Principal Anterior tooth. LC006 is an absolute monster sized Chubutensis tooth. This tooth was found in the Pungo River Formation (middle Miocene age). Note that the crown exhibits small cusplike bumps at the base of the serrated edge and the root ends also show grooves where the teeth interlocked. These are characteristic traits of the Lee Creek early Meg - C. chubutensis. A gorgeous light tan colored crown with an excellent tan bourlette. The bourlette is 100% complete. No enamel peel. The serrations are long, razor sharp, and essentially complete including a good tip serration. Highest quality enamel! The root is an excellent light tan color and complete. An exceptionally large Chubutensis collector's tooth. NO repair! The BEST of the BEST! One of my favorites. It will be difficult to find another early Meg like this one.

A Top Quality, Rare Pachychephalosaurus wyomingensis spike from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. An April Fossil of the Month. A complete spike with excellent articulation. Pachychephalosaurus is the dinosaur which is famous for its large domed head surrounded by these spikes and nodes. These spikes and nodes were part of the Pachy skull. This spike has exceptional color / patina. The blood grooves are still present in the bone. It is a complete specimen with no cracks or breaks. Note - the excellent articulated skull surface on the base of the spike. Legally collected on private land in the Hell Creek Fm., Powder River Co., Montana. An excellent collector's quality Pachychephalosaurus spike. You don't see these skull pieces very often. A rare, TOP QUALITY Megatherium americanum sloth claw from an extinct genus of giant ground sloths from the Pampean region, Uruguay. A March Fossil of the Month. Megatherium is from the family of the largest Ground sloths. This claw has excellent preservation. It is complete down to an excellent tip with essentially no restoration or repair. There appears to be a 1.5” area of the top of the sheath rim on the back side that may have minor restoration (see photo - a small area). Excellent preservation of the proximal end. An incredible massive Late Pliocene - Early Pleistocene display piece from Uruguay. Authenticity guaranteed. A fantastic Pleistocene giant ground sloth claw specimen. A rare Museum Quality specimen from a rare site. One of my favorites! Comes with a steel stand.

The October 2015 Week #2 FOTM is a rare, TOP QUALITY North Carolina Carcharocles megalodon. An excellent tooth from the copper-red site. It has an incredible copper-red colored crown. The enamel is the highest possible quality with small hydration cracks. A nice dark brown bourlette. Exceptional serrations and tip - one serration missing. Incredible condition for a big NC Meg. An excellent dark brown root, extra wide and slight damage on the reverse. Fantastic triangular shape. A gorgeous North Carolina copper-red Megalodon shark tooth. An exceptional collector's tooth. Note - you rarely see a copper-red Megalodon shark tooth that has a top quality crown, root and serrations - a top 1% tooth from this site! One of the finest quality copper-red Big Megalodon tooth that I have seen! NO repair! The BEST of the BEST. My largest remaining top quality copper-red Megalodon tooth!

An Ultra Rare, Top Quality Chilean Megalodon vertebra from the phosphate layer of the Caldera region, Chile. A gorgeous brown colored and well preserved centrum.  Note this this centrum is 3-5/8" wide and 1-1/2" deep. The complete centrum would be at least 3-1/2"+ in length. Unfortunately only one centrum side was found. No repair or restoration. An exceedingly rare BIG Chilean Megalodon vertebra from the old days! Note - these incredible big Chilean Meg vertabra simply do not exist. They are the "holy grail" for Megalodon tooth collectors!
