A Rare, "Flying" Minicryphaeus giganteus trilobite. Another November Fossil of the Month. The specimen has been expertly prepared to make it completely free standing in a flying position. A Top Quality, Rare Pachychephalosaurus wyomingensis head spike from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. Pachychephalosaurus is the dinosaur which is famous for its large domed head surrounded by these spikes and nodes. These spikes and nodes were part of the Pachy skull. This juvenile Pachy skull spike has excellent color and patina. Note the large blood grooves in the bone. It is a complete skull spike specimen. A Top Quality, rare Triceratops horridus epijugal (jugal spike) from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. Triceratops was a large ceratopsian dinosaur found in the Hell Creek and Lance Creek formations which is know for the large frill protecting its neck. Triceratops had a spike on its cheek which is called the jugal "spike" (see photo). This jugal spike has exceptional detail preserved and great color / patina.
