A rare, EXTRA LARGE Top Quality Tyrannosaur tooth from the late Cretaceous (Campanian) in northern North America. Please note that this tooth could be Gorgosaurus or Daspletosaurus - see Detailed Discussion below. A July Fossil of the Month. This tooth measures 3-1/16" - an excellent Tyrannosaur tooth. The enamel is highest quality with excellent color. Anterior serrations and posterior serrations are excellent.  Note - the large base height & width. This tooth comes from a  large Tyrannosaur - possibly Daspletosaurus. The posterior root corner was repaired for aesthetics. No resoration. A Top Quality Auriculatus tooth from Harleyville, So. Carolina. An excellent lateral tooth. A great tan colored crown with a brown colored bourlette, and a tan colored root. Highest quality enamel. A rare, Top Quality Avisaurus archibaldi tooth from the Hell Creek Fm. of Montana. A extinct primitive toothed bird from the Enantiornithine bird family. These teeth are triangular and thin, and the crown is non-serrate and may have longitudinal ridges. The root has to has a strong vertical notch. No cracks. No repair or restoration.
