Two very nicely preserved Scyphocrinites elegans crinoids from Alnif, Morocco. The Scyphocrinites crinoid was a floating variety which was attached to a holdfast air bladder that supported multiple stems and calyx ("flower"). These crinoids have a bulbous calyx with incredible detail. The upper crinoid has a stem section of 2-1/2". These crinoids make fantastic display pieces. Matrix size: 12" x 9". An incredible multi-specimen example on a reasonably sized piece of matrix. A Very Rare, Top Quality Hexanchus sp. lower jaw tooth from the Englishman River, Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. This is a new and undescribed genius / species from a Santonian (Late Cretaceous) deposit - 85 MMYA. A very unique species of Hexanchiforme shark. The crown is complete (6 cusps) and the root is complete. High quality enamel. No repair. A very difficult tooth to locate and an excellent collector's tooth. Authenticity guaranteed. An ultra rare, Top Quality Parotodus benedeni (False Mako) shark tooth from the Crawford River Valley, Greenwald, Victoria, Australia. A May Fossil of the Month. Incredible color and preservation. This is a Paleozoic shark that lived in swamps that our now underground coal deposits. Excellent preservation and serrations. Note - extra long root whorl section with 4 extra large crowns - very rare. The Edestus shark would have an upper and lower tooth whorl that are vertically opposed. Research showed that they could use their opposing teeth in a scissor-like motion to cut prey. It is the first animal to cut vertically. A very strange looking and unique acting shark. A rare, High Quality Alopias grandis shark tooth, the extinct Giant Thresher, from Milnerton Beach, Cape Town, South Africa. Nice blue color. Very good preservation and condition with a small root chip. A Late Mocene age tooth (Alexandria Fm). No repair or restoration. These teeth are not commonly found and seen.
