Pachychephalosaurus is the dinosaur which is famous for its large domed head surrounded by these spikes and nodes. These spikes and nodes were part of the Pachy skull. A Top Quality, rare Triceratops horridus epijugal (jugal spike) from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. Triceratops was a large ceratopsian dinosaur found in the Hell Creek and Lance Creek formations which is know for the large frill protecting its neck. Triceratops had a spike on its cheek which is called the jugal "spike" (see photo). This jugal spike has exceptional detail preserved and great color / patina. A RARE, Albertavenator curriei  (Troodon) tooth from the Horseshoe Canyon Fm. of Alberta, Canada. Troodontid teeth are known for their very unique shaped teeth with unusually large distal serrations. The enamel is excellent with an excellent brown color.  Excellent large posterior and good anterior serrations. Please note that the Troodon teeth may or may not have anterior (mesial) serrations. A RARE, Top Quality Saurornitholestes sp. (raptor) tooth from New Mexico. Saurornitholestes is a close relative of Velociraptor. This tooth is 1/4" which is a typical size. The enamel is excellent with a great tan color. This species is known for large posterior serrations that will turn upwards. A TOP QUALITY, Lee Creek Carcharocles chubutensis, a C. megalodon predecessor, from Aurora, No. Carolina. A posterior tooth. This tooth was found in the Pungo River Formation (middle Miocene age). Note the crown exhibits large cusplike bumps at the base of the serrated edge and the root ends also show grooves where the teeth interlocked. These are characteristic traits of the Lee Creek early Meg - C. chubutensis. A gorgeous tan colored crown with an excellent brown bourlette. Great serrations.
