A TOP QUALITY, ~6" Classic Lee Creek Megalodon tooth - ANTERIOR tooth. Our June 2017 Fossil of the Month. This Megalodon has an incredible golden tan colored crown with an exceptional mahogany brown bourlette - essentially complete with two toned color. Highest quality enamel. Exceptional golden tan enamel! The bourlette is extra large and near perfect. The serrations are razor sharp with an exceptional tip serration. Nearly PERFECT serrations (a few serrations damaged near the base  - all serrations are razor sharp. Exceptional serrations for a really big Meg! The root is an excellent tan color with very few no hydration cracks and complete. This Megalodon was found in the Yorktown Formation, Lee Creek mine, NC (Pliocene age = 4.5 MYA). The November week #3b FOTM is a very rare, TOP QUALITY Parotodus benedeni tooth from the Lee Creek mine, No. Carolina. This is an ultra rare anterior tooth. A perfect tip, perfect razor sharp cutting edges, and a complete root (1" thick). Root has the typical hydration crack present on all XL anterior teeth. A GEM, 2-5/8" North Carolina Great White shark tooth - an upper jaw anterior tooth. This Great White shark tooth has an excellent green colored crown. Great color. Excellent sharp serrations and a complete root. One of the finest examples of a extra large No. American Great White shark tooth considering the shape, color, and preservation. NO repair! A Top Quality, 5-5/16" Classic Lee Creek Megalodon tooth - upper jaw tooth. This Megalodon has an incredible tan colored crown with an excellent brown bourlette. Highest quality enamel. Exceptional color!  The serrations are razor sharp with an unique pathologic tip. Tip has a slight twist and serrations were not formed. Very strange. The root is an excellent tan color and extra wide (4-5/8") with typical hydration cracks and absolutely complete. A Top Quality, Triceratops horridus brow horn section from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. A November Fossil of the Month. Triceratops was a large ceratopsian dinosaur found in the Hell Creek Formation. This is a special horn with exceptional detail preserved with excellent color and natural patina. Incredible surface articulation. You can see all of the natural blood grooves around the surface of the horn. The preparation of the horn was very basic with one crack repair. An EXTRA LARGE, GEM Tyrannosaurus rex tooth- a premaxillary (front) tooth . This crown measures 2-5/8 and is thick (1-1/8"). The GEM quality T-Rex  teeth are very rare. The enamel is the highest quality. Exceptional anterior and posterior serrations. One natural crack, but no breaks.
