An Ultra Rare, GEM Quality Sharktooth Hill Megalodon tooth found in the Round Mountain silt near Bakersfield, California. A location that produces very few Megalodon teeth and one of the toughest Meg teeth to locate. A March 2021 Fossil of the Month. This colorful tooth was found in a "fire zone" site south of the Kern River. Highest quality enamel with a great tan and golden tan colors with charcoal highlights. The bourlette is a red color and 100% complete. The serrations are extra large and 100% complete with a great tip. The root is nicely articulated and complete. An Ultra Rare, Top Quality 4-3/4" Sharktooth Hill Megalodon tooth found in the Round Mountain Silt near Bakersfield, California. A location that produces very few Megalodon teeth and one of the toughest Megs to locate. A March 2021 Fossil of the Month. This tooth is still embedded in its original Round Mountain silt matrix block with a large whale bone. The whale bone is 7" long and 1.5" wide. Highest quality enamel with an excellent tan color. The bourlette is a tan color and 85% complete. The serrations are extra large and 100% complete. The root is nicely articulated and complete. Also note the grooves on the root ends - a Miocene trait. A TOP QUALITY, 3-3/4" Classic Lee Creek Megalodon tooth - ANTERIOR tooth. This Megalodon has an incredible blue - tan colored crown with an excellent two tone bourlette. Highest quality enamel. An ultra rare, Top Quality Struthiomimus altus hand (manus) claw from the late Cretaceous of North America. A November Fossil of the Month.  Struthiomimus is a long legged, bipedal, toothless dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation. The Struthiomimus means "ostrich mimic" which best describes this species. Exceptional bone quality and color. Excellent bone preservation. The tip was repaired which is quite common for claws. A VERY RARE, LARGE Top Quality, Leptoceratops gracilis "spitter"  tooth from the late Cretaceous of western North America. Leptoceratops is a smaller "ceratopsian" dinosaur found in the Hell Creek and Lance formations. There small size and small horns made them relatively easy prey and their population size was quite small compared to other herbivores. The enamel is high quality with nice color and patina.
