"The Best of West Java".  An ultra rare, TOP QUALITY, Megalodon - upper jaw anterior tooth from West Java, Indonesia - new site. A July Fossil of the Month. A "Picture Meg" tooth. This Megalodon has an incredible tan color draped with shades of red-brown & blue and an excellent caramel colored bourlette. Highest quality enamel. Fantastic color! The bourlette is extra large and 100% complete. The serrations are razor sharp and complete with an excellent tip serration. Excellent serrations for a BIG Meg. An EXTRA LARGE, Colorful, Top Quality Megalodon - upper jaw anterior tooth from West Java, Indonesia. This Megalodon has a tan colored crown with a GOLDEN tan  colored bourlette. Highest quality enamel. Fantastic color!  The bourlette is complete. The serrations are razor sharp with a razor sharp tip serration. Excellent serrations with one strange area. As seen on the left side of  photo #1, the serrations are short and each serration is perfectly rounded. This area appears to be a natural wear facet from striking an opposing tooth. extremely uncommon in sharks. Very strange. The root is excellent, great white color, and essentially complete with no display side erosion.  Miocene Age. No repair or restoration. Authenticity Guaranteed. A Top Quality, 5-5/16" Classic Lee Creek Megalodon tooth - upper jaw tooth. This Megalodon has an incredible tan colored crown with an excellent brown bourlette. Highest quality enamel. Exceptional color!  The serrations are razor sharp with an unique pathologic tip. Tip has a slight twist and serrations were not formed. Very strange. The root is an excellent tan color and extra wide (4-5/8") with typical hydration cracks and absolutely complete. This Megalodon was found in the Pungo River Formation, Lee Creek mine, Aurora, No. Carolina (Miocene age = 14.5 MYA). An excellent BIG collector's tooth from the old days at Lee Creek mine!
