An EXTRA LARGE TOP QUALITY, very rare Basilosaurus cetoides, an Archaeocete whale tooth found in the Suwanee River, Suwanee Co., Florida. An excellent canine tooth (see photo for tooth positions). A July Fossil of the Month. An excellent brown colored crown and root. Nicely articulated. Note - enamel tip shows a wear pattern on crown. An ultra rare, GEM Quality Torvosaurus tanneri tooth from the Morrison Formation. A September Fossil of the Month. This completeTorvosaurus crown measures 1-516". The enamel is highest quality. Excellent rich black color. Exceptional posterior and anterior serrations. Note - the anterior carina end about 1/2 of the way down from the tip. The diagnostic for a Torvosaurus tooth.
