A Top Quality Persea corniacea leaf from the Green River Fm., Cowboy Canyon, Bonanza Co., Utah. The Persea corniacea is a Laurel tree from the Eocene age (48 MYA) in the ancient Lake Unita deposit. This piece exhibits exceptional preservation and excellent color. No repair or restoration. Authenticity guaranteed. This leaf comes with a custom made wooden stand and ID plate (see photo). It is ready to display. A special old collection display piece!  Please note that the quarries are now shut down.
