The Scyphocrinites crinoids were floating crinoids and their holdfast was actually an air bladder that supported multiple stems and calyx. This holdfast is bulbous with a great amount of detail. An excellent pair of Mucrospirifer thedfordensis brachiopods from Arkona, Ontario, Canada. Brachiopods are bivalve molluscs. Both valves present  - complete specimens and matrix free. An EXTRA LARGE, GEM Tyrannosaurus rex tooth. This crown measures 2-3/4" and is thick (1"). The GEM quality T-Rex  teeth are very rare. The enamel is the highest quality. Exceptional anterior and posterior serrations. One natural crack, but no break. T-Rex was the apex during the late Cretaceous with massive teeth capable of crushing its prey. A MASSIVE 6-5/16" Top Quality Megalodon tooth from Georgia - an upper jaw Principal Anterior tooth. A June Fossil of the Month. The crown has excellent Dark Gray & Blue color. The enamel is the High Quality with small hydration cracks. A black colored bourlette which is mostly complete. Sharp, extra large serrations including an good tip serration. A Top Quality, Extra Large Sperm whale tooth, Scaldicetus sp., from the ACE river basin, So. Carolina. A Miocene age whale tooth. This tooth has a wonderful spiked enamel crown and a large, nearly complete round root. The tip of the crown has a small natural wear facet - quite common for these teeth. This tooth shows excellent detail - very well preserved. The root is extra wide and nicely articulated. A very well preserved specimen with no river wear! An excellent BIG Sperm whale tooth. A very rare, Top Quality Ceratopsian toe from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. An April Fossil of the Month.  There were three ceratopsian dinosaur species found in the Horseshoe Canyon formation. This is an excellent four piece non-associated juvenile ceratopsian toe.
