An ultra rare, TOP QUALITY Megalodon - lower jaw anterior tooth anterior from West Java, Indonesia. This Megalodon has an excellent tan colored crown with an orange colored bourlette. Highest quality enamel. Great color! The serrations are razor sharp with an excellent tip serration. The root is complete with pitting on the non-display side. Miocene Age. No repair or restoration. A Top Quality, Triceratops horridus brow horn from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. A March Fossil of the Month. Triceratops was a large ceratopsian dinosaur found in the Hell Creek Formation. This is a special horn with exceptional detail preserved with excellent color and natural patina. Fantastic surface articulation. You can see all of the natural blood grooves around the surface of the horn. Plus the horn base end is completely cleaned to see the internal terminus of the horn - a very complete specimen (see photo). The preparation of the horn was fairly basic and simple with minor crack repair. No extensive repair or restoration. It comes with the custom steel stand as shown. The Scyphocrinites crinoid was a floating variety which was attached to a holdfast air bladder that supported multiple stems and calyx ("flower"). These crinoids have a bulbous calyx with incredible detail.
