A very rare, early Otodus mugodzharicus upper jaw, lateral tooth from Aktulagay, western Kazakhstan. A transitional tooth leading to C. auriculatus (see detailed discussion below) which leads to Megalodon. A November Fossil of the Month.The bourlette is complete. Tooth exhibits "wavy serrated" edges similar to the Isurus escheri tooth. These teeth exhibit very good color, gloss, and preservation. A rare associated set of 15 Ptychodus mortoni teeth - upper jaw from gove Co., Kansas. Nicely articulated crowns. Very good preservation with white mineralization covering most teeth. Set includes: 2 x A1 anteriors, 6 x A2 anteriors, 3 x A3 anteriors, 1 x L1 lateral, 2 x L2 laterals, and 1 x L3 lateral. The primary center tooth was uncovered from the matrix and it is a GEM tooth measuring 1" in width and height. It is valued at $100 by itself. Edmontosaurus is a very large hadrosaur or "duck-bill" dinosaur found in the Lance Creek formation. A large dentary section showing 25 "conveyor tracks" that held their lower jaw teeth. Crack fill. A rare Top Quality Megalodon tooth from the Georgia - an upper jaw anterior tooth. The crown has excellent BLACK color. The enamel is the Highest Quality. A Large Black colored bourlette which is 90% complete. Razor sharp serrations including an good tip serration. The root is a black color, nicely articulated, robust, and complete. An ULTRA Rare, TOP QUALITY Parotodus benedeni tooth from Sharktooth Hill, near Bakersfield California. A December 2022 Fossil of the Month. This tooth has a highly desirable light tan enamel and a very massive root. This Parotodus benedeni tooth remains mounted on the original Round Mountain Silt matrix and it is sitting on a chunk of whale bone. The crown enamel has very good luster and very sharp edges. Highest quality enamel! Note -  a small (~1/8") tip repair was professionally done.  A very difficult tooth to locate and an EXCEPTIONAL Collector's tooth!
