A LARGE, GEM Abelisaurid dinosaur tooth from the Cretaceous Kem-Kem deposits of Morocco. Once thought to be a raptor tooth, it is now clear that the Abelisaurid, a family of ceratosaurian theropod dinosaurs, was the dominate smaller theropod in the late Cretaceous Kem-Kem deposit. Excellent deep red color and serrations. Excellent preservation. A fantastic Abelisaurid tooth. Note - A gem jar will be included as photographed.
M1257 Size: 3/4"
Note - 10 new Abelisaurid teeth added in Octobber 2018. Link to Abelisurid teeth
