A Top Quality, Rare Pachychephalosaurus wyomingensis node cluster from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. An August Fossil of the Month. Pachychephalosaurus is the dinosaur which is famous for its large domed head surrounded by these spikes and nodes (2+ nodes). This spike has excellent color / patina with exceptional surface articulation. The blood grooves are still present in the bone. It is a complete specimen with no cracks or breaks. This is a node cluster with a large node surrounded by a group of small nodes. Note -  the excellent articulated skull surface on the base of the node. Legally collected on private land in the Hell Creek Fm., Powder River Co., Montana. An excellent and very rare collector's quality Pachychephalosaurus node cluster. You don't see these skull pieces very often. No repair or restoration. Authenticity guaranteed. A very special piece - my best cluster!

An excellent pair of Mucrospirifer thedfordensis brachiopods from Arkona, Ontario, Canada. Brachiopods are bivalve molluscs. Both valves present  - complete specimens and matrix free. Excellent preservation. This is a middle Devonian (395 mya) brachiopod. Authenticity guaranteed. A great display group!

My final February 2018 Fossil of the Month.This ULTRA RARE, MONSTER sized Great White tooth measures 2-7/8" - a huge upper jaw PRINCIPAL ANTERIOR tooth. Highest quality enamel! Excellent color. An EXTRA LARGE, High Quality Ptychodus mortoni, an extinct durophagous (shell-crushing) shark, tooth from Dallas Co., Texas. An excellent example of this Upper Cretaceous Eagle Ford Fm. tooth. These  teeth have a design that includes a high cusp with radiating occlusal ridges extending across the cusp face. Authenticity guaranteed. P. mortoni is a rare species in Texas, and when teeth get this large they are extremely rare! The last of my largest teeth.

An incredible Top Quality Megalodon tooth from Georgia and a June 2018 Fossil of the Month. The crown has a fantastic charcoal gray with light gray and black serrations. The crown also has a very unique wide” spade-like” shape. The enamel is the Highest Quality; glass-like with few hydration cracks! An exceptional, extra large black bourlette – nearly perfect. Razor sharp serrations including an exceptional tip serration. Nearly perfect serrations! The root is nicely articulated, brown colored, and complete. This Georgia Meg is very special – a real “looker”. Definitely a Miocene age Meg tooth with small Chubutensis like bumps at the base of the crown and grooves along the edge of the root lobes. Note - these Georgia Megs are fantastic - essentially no sign of wear and excellent preservation.
