A TOP QUALITY, very rare Archaeocete whale, Zygorhiza kochii. A large molar tooth. The first molar has a small width yoke design. An exceptional brown colored crown and root. Nicely articulated. A Very Rare, Top Quality Notidanodon pectinatus tooth from Hornby Island, British Columbia, Canada. An August Fossil of the Month. This genius is from the Late Cretaceous deep water Northumberland Formation deposit. A unique species of Hexanchiforme shark. A very rare, LARGE Megalodon tooth from New Caledonia. These Megalodon teeth are dredged from the New Caledonia area between Fiji and Australia. The deposit covers about 5 square miles and the water is about 1,000 feet deep. All dredging has stopped and no new teeth are available. This Megalodon tooth has an incredible light tan color. A rare Mako shark tooth from Sumatra, Indonesia. These teeth appear to be juvenile Isurus desori teeth (narrow crown) and are scarce in the Sumatran deposit. They were deposited in the Telisa formation - a shallow marine environment during the middle Miocene (approx. 15 million years ago.) A very unique collector's tooth. D056 is an upper jaw tooth.
