A beautifully prepared, GEM QUALITY Comura bultyncki trilobite. The collector's favorite spiny trilobite. An April Fossil of the Month. Dozens of large spines fully exposed requiring many dozens of hours of air abrasion. One of the most difficult species to prepare. The Comura has very ornate spiny trilobite design with excellent compound eyes! Excellent shell and spine preservation. Large size. A scarce species! A Top Quality, LARGE Zilchovaspis rogusa trilobite from Morocco. It has German controlled preparation and retains all natural color and detail. Preparation easily took many dozens of hours to clean this specimen. Incredible prep work! All natural - an incredible display piece with the front of the cephalon raised to 3-1/4" (see photos #2 and 4). A Lower Devonian trilobite (395 mya). An ultra rare, Top Quality Ankylosaurus magniventris rooted tooth from the late Cretaceous of North America. A June Fossil of the Month. Ankylosaurus magniventris was the largest Ankylosaur which grew to 30 feet and 17000 pounds. Note - These incredibly sized dinosaurs had small teeth and this rooted tooth is from a juvenile Ankylosaurus. The enamel is the highest quality with excellent color / patina. An Ultra Rare, copper-red Parotodus benedeni tooth from the Meherrin River, No. Carolina. Rare deep cherry red color with exceptional gloss. Highest quality enamel. Great preservation and condition - extra sharp edges and a naturally rounded tip - very clean. The root shows very nice detail and is complete and large. This tooth appears to be a Yorktown Fm., Pliocene age tooth. No repair or restoration.  Exceptional color! An exceptional, rare collector's tooth! Authenticity guaranteed. "The Best of West Java".  An ultra rare EXTRA LARGE, TOP QUALITY 6-1/16" Megalodon - upper jaw tooth from West Java, Indonesia. A January Fossil of the Month. This Megalodon has an excellent tan & light red-brown and tan & brown bourlette color. The back of the crown has incredible color patterning. Highest quality enamel. Exceptional color! The bourlette is large and 98% complete. The serrations are razor sharp and complete with an excellent "needle-like" tip serration. Note the two large cutting edge waves at the base of the crown. Incredible serrations for a BIG Meg. The root is exceptionally wide (5-1/8" ) with a light brown color and complete with essentially no pitting. A Miocene Age tooth. No repair or restoration. A rare, Top Quality, EXTRA LARGE Anzu wyliei hand (manus) claw from the Hell Creek Fm. of SE Montana. Another June 2018 Fossil of the Month. Anzu is referred to as the "Chicken from Hell". An exceptional manus claw. Highest quality rich brown color and patina. This specimen has incredible perservation with exceptional surfaces - no pitting, nicks or wear - superb surface articulation! There is some professional restoration which is typical for a big Anzu wyliei manus claw. The tip has a small section repaired and the proximal edge has a small triangular area repaired which starts at the center of proximal surface (see photo). A Top Quality Tyrannosaur tooth from the late Cretaceous (Campanian - Two Medicine Fm.) in northern North America. Please note that this tooth could Gorgosaurus or Daspletosaurus - see Detailed Discussion below. A May Fossil of the Month. This tooth measures 1-13/16" -  an excellent Tyrannosaur tooth. The enamel is high quality with excellent color. Anterior and posterior serrations are excellent. Serrated to the tip with a small wear facet on tip. Base is large and round. No crack, repair or restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Two Medicine Fm., Glacier Co., Montana. This is an excellent Daspletosaurus tooth based on size and roundness of the tooth cross-section. A very rare Desmostylus tooth from the Sharktooth Hill area, near Bakersfield, California. The chewing surface is incredibly preserved. A rare complete and fully rooted tooth.
