"The BEST of West Java." An ultra rare, TOP QUALITY BIG Megalodon - upper jaw anterior tooth from West Java, Indonesia.  A March Fossil of the Month. This Megalodon has an excellent light brown colored crown and an excellent red-brown colored bourlette. Highest quality enamel. Great color! The bourlette is extra large and nearly complete. A HUGE Top Quality, Otodus obliquus tooth from the Khouribga phosphate mining area of Morocco. A BIG anterior tooth with an extra wide crown. This tooth has an excellent golden tan color and a white root. Sharp edges and tip. The side cusps are complete. A massive, thick root. A rare TOP QUALITY, Isurus retroflexus tooth, a Longfin Mako, from the Meherrin River, No. Carolina. Upper jaw anterior tooth. Excellent copper red color with exceptional gloss. The root shows very nice detail with the typical distinct enameloid build up on the reverse side. Absolutely great preservation and condition - extra sharp edges and tip - very clean. NC395                   SIZE: 1-15/16"

A TOP QUALITY, Lee Creek Carcharocles chubutensis, a C. megalodon predecessor, from Aurora, No. Carolina. A posterior tooth. This tooth was found in the Pungo River Formation (middle Miocene age). Note the crown exhibits large cusplike bumps at the base of the serrated edge and the root ends also show grooves where the teeth interlocked. These are characteristic traits of the Lee Creek early Meg - C. chubutensis. A gorgeous tan colored crown with an excellent brown bourlette. Great serrations.
