A rare late Jurassic sauropod limb bone section from the Morrison Fm. with bite marks. This is most likely a Camarasaurus tibia end section.  There is a tooth rake and a wedge cut shown in photos #3 & 4. Photo #5 shows a circular puncture of the bone. Camarasaurus was a mid- sized Jurassic sauropod.. Great rich brown gray color. Excellent bone quality. Note - sauropods had hollow bones with air sacs to reduce their weight. A very rare Top Quality, Allosaurus & Camarasaurus toe bone from the Morrison Fm. These toe bones are complete, and they reside on an Allosaurus  vertebra neural section as originally found. The Allosaurus toe bone is 2-1/2" and the Camarasaurus toe bone measures 2-3/8" in length. High quality bone. Rich brown color. Very good overall condition with minor bone erosion. Normal crack fill. No restoration. Allosaurus was the apex predator during the late Jurassic and Camarasaurus was a medium-sized sauropod. Legally collected on private land in the Morrison Fm., Emery Co., Utah. A rare Top Quality Triceratops horridus caudal vertebra from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. A November Fossil of the Month. Triceratops was a large ceratopsian dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation which is known for three horns and a large frill protecting its neck. This is a caudal (tail) vertebra with exceptional detail preserved with great color and patina. You can see the vertebra surface is very rugous and the vertebra is very thick with a very round centra which are characteristics of Triceratops and distinguishes it from a Hadrosaur. Triceratops bones are more difficult to find. Please note that the left transverse porcess and the spinous process were professionally restored. This is now specimen compete. It is extremely rare to find vertebra that are complete. Legally collected on private land in Powder River Co., Montana. It comes with the custom steel stand as shown. A rare Top Quality Triceratops horridus occipital condyle from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. Triceratops was a large ceratopsian dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation which is known for three horns and the large frill protecting its neck. This is a beautiful 3-3/4" occipital condyle with excellent detail preserved. This large codyle has fantastic color and patina plus a large section of braincase is attached. Note - The occipital condyle was the connection point of the Triceratops massive skull to the vertebrae column, and it allowed for maximum rotation of the head. No repair or restoration. Note - Triceratops hoof cores are generally smaller than Hadrosaur, have a very rugous surface, have a characteristeristic "shallow ledge" on the under side, have less height than Hadrosaur, and are much more difficult to find.
