    An EXTRA LARGE, pyrite replaced Paraspirifer bownockeri brachiopod from the Silica Shale Fm., Sylvania, Ohio. Brachiopods are bivalve molluscs, and this is a big one. Both valves present  - complete specimen and matrix free. Note -  1-1/8" thick and heavy! This is a Devonian (395 mya) brachiopod. The big Silica Fm. brachiopod. Authenticity guaranteed. A fantastic display specimen!

  2. Paraconularia crustala

    A Paraconularia crustala, a Conulariid, from Holdenville, Oklahoma. Conulariid, is a genus named for the Latin word conulus or cone. This fossil is shaped like a rectangular cone. The fossil is made up of rows of calcium phosphate rods which is the same material that a fossil shark is made of. This creature was placed Cnidaria phylum in the Animal kingdom, and its relatives include the corals, anemones, and jellyfish. Exceptional preservation. This is a Wewoka Fm., Pennsylvanian Period fossil (300 MYA). Authenticity guaranteed. A very unique display piece!

  7. Edmontosaurus - Jaw section

    A High Quality Edmontosaurus annectens lower jaw section from the late Cretaceous of North America. Edmontosaurus is a very large hadrosaur or "duck-bill" dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation. They possessed ~300 teeth that were in columns of five teeth each which acted as conveyor belt to maintain a large chewing surface to cut and grind their food. This specimen is a small section of the lower jaw showing two grooves where the columns of teeth were positioned. Bone quality is very good. No restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Hell Creek Fm., Powder River Co., Montana. An excellent collector's quality Edmontosaurus jaw section.  Authenticity guaranteed.

    A Quality Tyrannosaur tooth from the late Cretaceous (Campanian) in northern North America. Please note that this tooth could AlbertosaurusGorgosaurus or Daspletosaurus - see Detailed Discussion below. This tooth measures 5/8" - an excellent juvenile Tyrannosaur tooth. The enamel is high quality with excellent color. Anterior serrations are good and posterior serrations are missing. Tip broken. No repair or restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Judith River Fm., Wheatland Co., Montana. Probably an excellent juvenile Albertosaurus tooth based on size and roundness of the tooth cross-section.
