Triceratops Jaw Section
A rareTriceratops horridus jaw section (maxilla section) with teeth from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. Triceratops was a large ceratopsian dinosaur found in the Hell Creek and Lance Creek formations which is know for three horns and a large frill protecting its neck. This is a great jaw section with good detail preserved and a great chocolate brown color and patina. This jaw has ~10 teeth visible. Triceratops bones are more difficult to find. Some crack fill. No restoration. Legally collected on private land in Walworth Co., North Dakota. Specimen come with a custom steel stand as shown. Authenticity guaranteed.
