Isurus hastalis

This catalog contains excellent Miocene age Isurus hastalis , the Big-tooth Mako shark. These teeth are an early form of I. hastalis with the narrower crown from the Calvert Formation (early middle Miocene) - approx. 18 million years in age, Calvert Cliffs, Maryland.
