Isurus praecursor
This catalog contains exceptional teeth from Isurus praecursor, the earliest Mako shark. I. praecursor teeth are noted for a narrow non-serrate crown. The Togo site Isurus are exceptionally preserved and colorful. I do not see these top quality, early Mako teeth too often!

An EXTRA LARGE, Top Quality Isurus praecursor, the earliest Mako shark, tooth from the phosphate mines of Hahotoe, Togo. An upper anterior tooth. Excellent color and preservation. This tooth is Lutetian age (45 MYA), lower middle Eocene. No repair or restoration. Authenticity guaranteed. Perfect tooth.
