Protolamna aff. sokolovi

A very popular and rare Cretaceous shark. Crowns feature deep longitudinal grooves at these base. These teeth were collected from the Paw Paw Formation of the Washita Group, Motorola Site, Tarrant Co. (Albian - late Cretaceous - 112 million years ago). All teeth are complete and well preserved.

    A Top Quality Protolamna sokolovian extinct Mackerel shark, tooth from Tarrant Co., Texas. An excellent example of this Lower Cretaceous Paw Paw Fm. shark. These teeth have a unique design with a high root face, broad side cusps, and strong vertical ridges along the crown base. This is an anterior tooth with perfect side cusps. Authenticity guaranteed. Perfect tooth.
