Isurus retroflexus

This catalog contains beautiful teeth from the Long-fin Mako shark - Isurus retroflexus. These teeth exhibit all or most of the characteristics of a classic I. retroflexus with compressed, broader crown that is straight, lingual root face is protuberance, the labial root has a platform & a large groove, and the labial crown face has wrinkles at the base. These teeth are from the Pliocene (approx. 4 million years old) found near Sacaco, Peru.
