Carcharias teretidens

This catalog contains teeth from an extinct Sand Tiger shark, Carcharias teretidens. All teeth are large and complete, and are difficult to find in this size and condition. Note - These teeth are somewhat similar to the Striatolamia macrota with a striated central crown (longitudinal ridges), but has very sharp side cusps like C. hopei.
