Prognathodon giganteus

These are huge examples of extinct Prognathodon giganteus, a large Cretaceous, marine reptile (Mosasaur). Note - this tooth exhibits another highly "ribbed design" crown with a narrow tooth profile. This is the most difficult to find of the three Mosasaur species. Sharks had to fear these creatures! Found in the phosphate mine region, Khouribga, Morocco.
