Isurus retroflexus

The Isurus retroflexus is a modern form Longfin Mako found in the Yorktown Formation (Early Pliocene - ~4.5 mya) at the Lee Creek site. The upper jaw teeth exhibit a short crowns, a high root face, and root build up at the base of the crown on the labial side. A rare tooth.
