Isurus desori (now Isurus oxyrinchus)

The Isurus desori were an earlier form Narrow-Tooth Mako found in the Pungo River Formation (Middle Miocene - ~15 mya) at the Lee Creek site. However, they are now considered Isurus oxyrinchus, the Shortfin Mako, teeth. Please see our Isurus oxyrinchus catalog.

Absolutely great preservation and condition - extra sharp edges and tip. These are Miocene age teeth from the Pungo River Fm. Fantastic collector's teeth. Museum quality.
