Meristodon kolbaensis

Excellent teeth from a rare and very unique Cretaceous shark, Meristodon kolbaensis - a Hybodontid shark. These are complete showing exceptional preservation. Specimens of this quality are very difficult to locate. Middle Cretaceous (upper Albian - 100 million years ago), Kolbay, E. Mangyshlak, western Kazakhstan.
