Archeolamna koepingensis

Excellent teeth from a fairly uncommon Cretaceous shark, Archeolamna koepingensis. These teeth have extra heavy roots that protrudes on the lingual view, and the side cusps are well pronounced. Note - The teeth are also similar in appearance to the Protolamna sokolovi described by Cappetta. The Russian collectors originally identified this tooth as the Protolamna arcuata
