Acrodus levis

An unusual tooth from a rare and very unique Cretaceous shark, Acrodus levis - a Acrorodont shark. This is a large dome shaped tooth used for grinding, and is complete showing exceptional preservation. Specimens of this quality are rare. Upper Cretaceous (95 million years ago) Karamola, Guriev region, W. Kazakhstan.
