Shark Vertebrae

This catalog contains the extremely rare vertebrae from one of the largest Lamnid shark, Carcharias megalodon. Finding fossilized shark Megalodon vertebrae is very rare since the vertebrae were cartilage and were not ideal to fossilize. However, a few shark vertebrae did survive the fossilization process, and we are bringing this rare treat to you! All vertebrae are early Pliocene - (approx. 4 million years ago). These large Megalodon (a huge Lamnid shark) vertebrae are quite spectacular and rare, making them a must have for every fossil shark teeth collection. You do never see these vertebrae for sale!
