Carcharodon carcharias - World Record Size!

This catalog contains extraordinarily large and ultra rare teeth from the Great White shark, Carcharodon carcharias. These teeth are noted for their wide triangular crowns which are heavily serrated. These extra large teeth are rare and very showy, making them an excellent addition to your Great White shark tooth collection. Please note that these C. carcharias teeth are extraordinarily large. Teeth in this catalog measure 3-3/8" to 2-11/16" in height.

These are the largest teeth that I have seen come out of Chile and the largest Great White shark teeth that I am aware of - probable world record size! There is no doubt that teeth of this size are RARE. Using Gottfried's formula for measuring today's Great White sharks using their upper anterior tooth size, these sharks measured 27 feet (8.2meters) to 21 (6.4 meters) in total length. Simply incredible since today's Great White sharks rarely attain 20' in length. Look out Jaws! Please have a look at these beauties. Supplies will be very limited. All teeth are museum quality to near museum teeth. Note - several of these teeth have very minor problems (clearly marked). Based on my extensive experience, >80% of the teeth available at this size have some damage and many have substantial restoration - buyer beware!
