A Very Scarce, Quality Carcharodon (Isurus) hastalis tooth -  an upper jaw anterior Mako tooth from the Dakhla area, Western Sahara, Morocco. Very good quality enamel. A nice tan color. A Top Quality Onchopristis numidus rostal tooth from the Kem Kem area of Morocco. Onchopristis was a large, fearsome Cretaceous Saw shark, and it is believed to be a meal for Spinosaurus. This is a shorter rostal teeth from a bigger Saw shark. A very robust tooth. Great red color. No repair or restoration. Authenticity guaranteed. One of my favorite shark teeth.

An EXTRA LARGE Top Quality, Carcharodon hastalis,  Mako shark tooth (lower anterior jaw tooth) from the Lee Creek mine, Aurora, No. Carolina. Note - This tooth exhibits the classic characteristic shape of the middle Miocene Mako teeth found both in the Lee Creek mine and the NC red site. I do not see this Mako tooth shape from other Miocene deposits. Possibly a hastalis species variation and it is referred to as the "narrow form". Maximum size is approximately 2". This tooth has a rich blue & tan crown and a tan colored root. Excellent colors!  Razor sharp cutting edge. Excellent preservation - note nutrient hole on root.
