A VERY RARE, Top Quality Hexanchus griseus tooth from the Caldera Basin of Chile. This is complete lower jaw tooth with a unique pathology. Superb preservation and color. Ten primary cusps fully formed on the left and nine cusps on the right. Very unusual. No repair or restoration. An ULTRA RARE, Top Quality Hexanchus griseus symphyseal tooth from the Caldera Basin of Chile. A May Fossil of ther Month. This is a slightly pathologic lower symphyseal jaw tooth (center tooth) with 7 large primary cusps on the left side and small cusps on the right side. A HUGE, High Quality Aetomylaeus sp., an Eagle ray, mouth plate from Caldera area of Chile. An April Fossil of the Month. An excellent plate of pavement teeth from the lower jaw. This plate has good preservation, light brown color, and is exceptionally clean. Note - the bottom side of this specimen is completely matrix free - rare. An incredibly sized late Miocene Eagle ray mouth plate from the Bahia Inglesa Fm.  Authenticity guaranteed. Unfortunately there are no more teeth coming from this site!

A rare, EXTRA LARGE Top Quality Hexanchus collinsonae tooth, a Sixgill Cow shark, from the Muddy Creek / Fisher - Sullivan site, Virginia.  A lower jaw tooth with 10 primary cusps. Exceptional color and preservation. This is an Early Eocene (Ypresian) age, Nanjemoy Formation tooth. A special collector's Cow shark tooth. Authenticity guaranteed.

A TOP QUALITY, very rare Basilosaurus cetoides, an Archaeocete whale tooth found in the Suwanee River, Suwanee Co., Florida. An excellent canine or incisor tooth (see photo for tooth positions).  An incredible red colored crown and a brown root. Nicely articulated. Note - enamel tip shows a very small wear pattern on crown. Whales do not shed their teeth like the sharks so there teeth will wear with age. An Eocene age tooth (35 MYA).  No repair or restoration. A great Archaeocete tooth from the Suwanee River, Florida.  A very rare collector's tooth from an old collection.
