The root has been repaired with a patch on each end. A Top Quality, Carcharodon hastalis,  Mako shark tooth (lower jaw tooth) from the Lee Creek mine, Aurora, No. Carolina. This tooth has a rich blue & tan crown and a light brown colored root.
