Rare Shark Teeth Species

A very rare, early Otodus pavlovi upper jaw, lateral tooth from Aktulagay, western Kazakhstan. Otodus pavlovi was the smaller Otodus shark species present in this early Eocene deposit. The side cusps are large and complete. Exhibits no serrations. These teeth exhibit very good color, gloss, and preservation. No repair. Authenticity guaranteed. Perfect tooth.

A very rare, early Macrorhizodus nolfi upper jaw, anterior tooth from Aktulagay, western Kazakhstan. Note - all three crown tip ends were very neatly reattached without fill or gaps which is typical for a matrix free specimen. Crack lines are hard to see without magnification. A unique species of Chlamydoselachiform shark, the Frill shark. (Note - the specimen is the size and character of the extremely rare Chlamydoselachus balli, but it lacks the two small acessory cusps that reside between the main cusps.)  These teeth exhibit classic Frill shark design with a central cusp flanked by two lateral cusps. A very rare, Top Quality Parotodus benedeni lateral tooth with a massive root from the St. Mary's River, Georgia. A Miocene age tooth from the Hawthorne Fm. An August Fossil of the Month.
