The Megalodon was the largest shark ever to live, dominating the Miocene and Pliocene eras with lengths reaching 60 feet. Known for the highest estimated bite force of any animal (up to 180,000 newtons), this massive predator hunted whales and other large marine mammals.
Our specimens showcase the Megalodon's signature serrated cutting edges and lack of side cusps. While these teeth rarely exceed 6 to 6.5 inches, we proudly offer several rare specimens measuring over 6 inches. An Ultra Rare, LARGE Top Quality Sharktooth Hill Megalodon tooth found in the Round Mountain silt near Bakersfield, California. A location that produces very few Megalodon teeth and one of the toughest Meg teeth to locate. This "Bakersfield white" tooth was found in Ernst "whale quarry". Highest quality enamel with a great light tan color. The bourlette is a white color and mostly dentin layer. The serrations are extra large and 100% complete with a great tip. The root is nicely articulated and complete. Also note the grooves on the root ends - a Miocene trait. Note - This is a middle Miocene Meg has tip repair. You will not see large middle Miocene Sharktooth Hill Megs from Bakersfield, California very often. One of the rarest Megs! Authenticity guaranteed. An incredible rare "white" Meg collector's tooth! A custom display stand is included.

An EXTRA LARGE, Colorful, Top Quality Megalodon - upper jaw anterior tooth from West Java, Indonesia. An August Fossil of the Month. This Megalodon has a BLACK with silver & tan colored crown with an excellent brown colored bourlette. Highest quality enamel. Fantastic color! The bourlette is complete. The serrations are razor sharp with a razor sharp tip serration. Excellent serrations. The root is excellent with a nicely articulated surface, extra wide and complete. No display side erosion.
