Auriculatus Teeth

A very rare, High Quality Otodus auriculatus, an early Giant White shark, tooth from the phosphate mines of Hahotoe, Togo. Very good color and preservation. This tooth is Lutetian age (45 MYA), lower middle Eocene. No repair or restoration. Authenticity guaranteed. An extremely rare Auricularus tooth. I have only seen five of them.

"The Ghost"  A rare Top Quality WHITE Auriculatus tooth from Harleyville, So. Carolina.  An excellent WHITE colored crown with a white colored bourlette, and a white colored root. A very rare, early Otodus obliquus upper jaw, anterior tooth from Aktulagay, western Kazakhstan. Otodus obliquus is the ancestor to C. auriculatus (see detailed discussion below) which leads to Megalodon. The bourlette is large and complete. Exhibits no serrations. The starting species to serrated Carcharocles teeth. These teeth exhibit very good color, gloss, and preservation. A rare, early Eocene Auriculatus transition tooth. A very challenging tooth to find when building a Megalodon evolutionary set! No repair. Authenticity guaranteed. This western Kazakhstan site is one of the few places in the world where the Otodus to Auriculatus transition can be found in adjacent layers. Note - This is my last offering of Aktluagay teeth.

A very rare, early Auriculatus upper jaw, lateral tooth from Kzil-Orda region, Kazakhstan. The bourlette is complete. Excellent coarse serrations and killer, large side cusps with very irregular serrations. These teeth exhibit fantastic color, gloss, and preservation. A rare, Top Quality Otodus sokolovi tooth from Boujdour, Western Sahara, Morocco. Enamel quality is excellent with an excellent large bourlette. The serrations are very sharp - razor sharp. The side cusps are complete with uniform serrations. The root is massive and complete. Exceptional preservation. This tooth is a Late Eocene age, Aridal Formation (approx. 42 million years ago).
