A LARGE, Top Quality, Otodus obliquus tooth from the Khouribga phosphate mining area of Morocco. This tooth has an excellent golden tan color and a white root. Sharp edges and tip. The side cusps are complete - one looks serrated. A massive, thick root. Root appears to be cracked. Great color! One of the earliest ancestors of the Megalodon. A Top Quality Ptychodus decurrens, an extinct durophagous (shell-crushing) shark, tooth from Travis Co., Texas. An excellent example of this Upper Cretaceous So. Bosque Shale Fm. tooth.
