An ultra rare Mosasaur matrix piece with two Top Quality Mosasaurus (Prognathodon) anceps teeth with their original roots. Another May 2018 Fossil of the Month selection. Includes a massive 5-1/2" tooth and a 3" tooth in the original matrix. Both are fully rooted and perfect teeth which is very rare! This is not your typical Mosasaur crown glued to a root. This is an all original, associated specimen (beware of the fakes - discussion below). Exceptional condition and preservation.  No repair or restoration. Museum Quality. A LARGE, ROOTED Globidens aegyptiacus  tooth from the Khouribga Basin (phosphate sedimentary basin) in Morocco. M1101 is a rare rooted tooth which is still in its original matrix. Both crown and root are all original with no break. Globidens is a specialized marine mosasaur that is Cretaceous in age. Nicely articulated and well preserved. Authenticity guaranteed.
