A LARGE, TOP QUALITY, very rare Basilosaurus cetoides, an Archaeocete whale tooth found in the Suwanee River, Suwanee Co., Florida. An excellent molar or premolar tooth (see photo for tooth positions).  An excellent brown colored crown and root. Nicely articulated. Note - enamel tip shows a wear pattern on crown. Whales do not shed their teeth like the sharks so there teeth will wear with age. An Eocene age tooth (35 MYA).  No repair or restoration. A great Archaeocete tooth from the Suwanee River, Florida.  A very rare collector's tooth from an old collection.

An excellent Scaldicetus sp., a Sperm whale, tooth from Caldera area of Chile. An incredible late Miocene Sperm whale tooth from the Bahia Inglesa Fm. This tooth has great preservation, fantastic brown color, and is very clean. Note - Small repair to the base of the root. Authenticity guaranteed. Unfortunately there are no teeth coming from this site 17 years!

A rare EXTRA LARGE, Top Quality Whale Ear Bone, tympanic bulla, from the Lee Creek mine, Aurora, No. Carolina. This is an essentially complete ear bone. Incredible preservation and color. A Top Quality, Extra Large Sperm whale tooth, Scaldicetus sp., from the ACE river basin, So. Carolina. A Miocene age whale tooth. This tooth has a wonderful spiked enamel crown and a large, nearly complete round root. The tip of the crown has a small natural wear facet - quite common for these teeth. This tooth shows excellent detail - very well preserved. The root is extra wide and nicely articulated. A very well preserved specimen with no river wear! An excellent BIG Sperm whale tooth. You do not see many Sperm whale teeth in Top Quality condition. Authenticity guaranteed.
