An incredible fossil Horseshoe crab, Mesolimulus walchi, from Melmzetar, Solnhofen, Bavaria, Germany. A January Fossil of the Month. This crab is from the famous Solnhofen limestone quarry with the highest perservation. Upper Jurassic age - 155 million years old. It makes an incredible display. Slab size is 18.5" x 11.5".
