Auriculatus teeth (Megalodon ancestor)

A very rare, LARGE Auriculatus lateral tooth from the Ocucaja region deserts of Peru. An excellent tan crown and brown root. The serrations are very nice -  large and sharp. Good side cusp development and a complete root. Excellent preservation. Right root lobe reattached. No restoration. Found in the Paracas Formation, Late Eocene. These Peruvian Rics are very rare! You cannot find them any more. Authenticity guaranteed. One of the most difficult Auriculatus teeth to locate.

A rare, Top Quality Otodus sokolovi tooth from Boujdour, Western Sahara, Morocco. Enamel quality is excellent with an excellent large bourlette. The serrations are very sharp - razor sharp. The side cusps are complete with uniform serrations. The root is massive and complete. Exceptional preservation. This tooth is a Late Eocene age, Aridal Formation (approx. 42 million years ago). A 3-3/16" GEM Harleyville Auriculatus tooth.  A 2nd August Fossil of the Month. An exceptional upper jaw anterior tooth. Gorgeous tan colored crown with a red brown colored bourlette, and red root. Highest quality enamel! Exceptionally colored & preserved. The serrations are large and razor sharp with an good tip serration. The root is complete and well preserved. A MASSIVE Auriculatus tooth. Anterior tooth. Enamel quality is quite good with an extra large bourlette. Serrations are very sharp. The tip area was broke during feeding and is worn smooth.
