A very rare, EXTRA LARGE Auriculatus lateral tooth from the Ocucaja region deserts of Peru. An excellent tan crown and brown root. The serrations are very nice -  large and sharp. Good side cusp development and a complete root. Excellent preservation. Left root lobe is reattached. No restoration. Found in the Paracas Formation, Late Eocene. These Peruvian Rics are very rare! An EXTRA LARGE, beautifully prepared Asaphus punctatus trilobite from Saint Petersburg. A very nice three lobe design. Note the raised eyes to see in soft sediment.
